Snotweasel
Looking for an AM3 mobo for CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B. I've got 4 sticks of this stuff, and one of my DIMM slots poo-poo'd on my GA-MA790XT-UD4P. So now I'm just running 2 (8 gb) in dual channel. Can anyone suggest a good board that will match well with these DIMMs? I've got a 460GTX with a dedicated PhysX card and really no interest to go SLI. Only preferences I have is no onboard video and an optical audio would be nice, but not necessary. I don't expect anybody here to do all the footwork for me, as I've already scoured aplenty. QVLs are spotty at best as well as hardly kept up to date, and Corsair's memory compatibility tool doesn't list all the mobo's out there. Just want to make sure I don't snag a mobo that tells me my mem sticks are whack. I'd like to spend no more than $150. Any helps' much appreciated. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted August 16, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 16, 2011 The modules you have are made for and tested with an Intel Sandy Bridge CPU, but will work with any DDR3 platform MB, just with AMD you may be limited to DDR1333.
