JaredG Posted June 30, 2004 Share Posted June 30, 2004 I am currently running Asus PC 800 Deluxe MB Pentium 4 2.8 HT processor 2 x XMS3200 CMX 256a ( have 4 but only 2 will work) Radeon 9800 Pro etc etc etc Everytime i add the 3rd and 4th chips my computer goes wacko crashing in any kind of game/benchmark and then will just reset on me as well.. Is it my ram is defective or my motherboard slots or? And 2nd question can i use Corsair in the first 2 slots and try kingston or something else in the 3rd and 4th (no local retailer sells Corsair ram and i dont want to wait 4 weeks delivery when i've had these defective chips for nealy 6 months collecting dust because i never knew about these tech boards :evil: ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
