Force F120 Hangs During Boot Up

Hi Guys,

I installed a Corsair Force F120 SSD a few months ago and installed fine, and been doing updates fine. But every other time or every two times I boot up my computer, during the "Starting Windows" logo (for Win7), it will just sit there and the HD LED on my case will just light up and stay lit up, and nothing will happen. I have to restart one or two more times and then it will finally load Windows 7 as normal and everything will run fine.

I am suspecting the issue is with the drive but I am not sure what is going on. I downloaded the Corsair Firmware Update tool but the tool recognizes my drive and shows that I already have the v2.0 firmware so I did not try to update or anything. My BIOS settings should be correct as well as the proper Windows 7 settings (TRIM enabled, Hibernation off, Indexing off, etc.) as I did my research before performing the Windows 7 installation with the new drive.

Here is my system specs:

MSI K9A2 Platinum Motherboard

AMD Athlon64 X2 3.2GHz BE (running stock)

2x2GB DDR2800 SDRAM

Corsair Force F120 SSD

Windows 7 64-Bit Home Premium

######## 900 Case

******** 900W PSU

Thanks,

Emile
