sellaput
:!: I want to know if the value select will work with my a7v600Mobo with 2 512 sticks or if it will work at all. Can I use the value select or do I need to step up to Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 Also I an using kingston KVR400x64c25/512 now and I can not use 2 sticks. Even if I use slot 1 and 3. It will run for 3,4 or even over night but will eventually blue screen. It have been solid for 3 weeks now with only 1 stick in. I do not over clock so that isent a criteria for me. so is it value or XMS and 1 at 1gig or preferable 2x512Mb
CandyKid
Corsair's VS1GBKIT400 or VS1GB400C3 will work for you. The first is 2*512 CAS2.5 modules, the second is a single 1024 CAS 3 module. If you wanted to run faster XMS memory, that would also be an option and will increase your performance a little bit in games and such. CandyKid
I don't reccomend that you buy that particular module as it is a CAS 3 module and for 2 * 512, you'd have to buy two of them. It'd be easier for you to buy the VS1GBKIT400 which is a pair of 512 MB CAS 2.5 modules. They will run slightly faster than the CAS 3 module you listed. PLUR CK P.S. Please note the absence of a "C3" at the end of the part name I gave you. You do not want a "C3" on your part name.
