Bscho32
I'm new to this forum so sorry if i missed the answer to my problem from previous posts. I recently purchased a 512 corsair xms pc3200c2 stick of ram. When i put it in the computer and loaded it up, i got the dimm timing error. I asked around and was told to change the timing in the bios to 2.5-3-3-6. I tried this and still came up with the error. I also tried many other combinations from the suggestion of someone who builds systems for a living. He had no idea why it wasnt working on 2.5-3-3-6. I already had 2 sticks of the same ram but 256 instead of 512. The new 512 works fine when its in the motherboard by itself and same with the 256's by themselves. My motherboard is a k8v deluxe from asus. Any suggestions or helpful comments are greatly appreciated.
