F60 Windows install failed! HELP

Hello!

I cant install win 7 on my F60. I think it has somthing to do with the formatting, it says my HDD is a "DYNAMIC HDD",

while all my other HDD's are "Basic's".

When i try to install it it says that u cant install windows on that HDD..

Can somone help me?

I took away ALL my HDDs, and only used the F60, but still dident work:/

have you tried...

1. Open Command prompt.

2. Type:

diskpart

3. At the DISKPART prompt, type:

list volume

Make note of the number of the dynamic volume you want to delete.

4. At the DISKPART prompt, type:

select volumen

Select the dynamic volume, where n is the volume's number, that you want to delete.

5. At the DISKPART prompt, type:

delete volume

Deletes the selected dynamic volume.

worth a shot?

When a disk is basic, it can be changed to a dynamic.

However once it is dynamic, it will always be dynamic, until you delete the partition and re-format it.

If your drive is already unallocated then that is a good first step, you just have to format it now.
