exgaming Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Every time I boot my pc I have this strange and very annoying high pitch buzzing sound coming from my psu (Corsair AX850). Yes It's definitely coming from the psu and usually goes away after about 1 - 5 minutes on the first boot of that day and any reboot (shut down) after that it will hang around for about a minute. This concerns me as I will be receiving my gtx 580 in a few days and I am afraid of possible damage that could occur because this high pitch buzzing sound is not normal. It does not happen during load on cpu or gpu like other people just on the boot process. Yes I have also tried every fix in the noisy psu thread and none work.
