CHARLY_1986 Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Greetings, a few months ago purchased a Corsair HX-650 PSU, I noticed that when you encode videos or play games, the power supply heats up and cools when I stop playing or encoding. I found that the fan power supply always turns to the same speed whether the power supply is cool or hot. Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 13, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 13, 2011 That is not unusual it will draw air from inside your case so as the inside case temp goes up so with the air temp coming out of the PSU and it will generate more heat when under more of a load.
