Starone
How does it come that the whole RMA process needs only about ten days? Sounds too good to be true. I live in Europe, if there is any delay for RMA oversea, how long would it be?

Synthohol
CSSD-F120GBG3-BK was a typo, the correct part# is CSSD-F120GB3-BK
bagicz
i think for european people ssd should go in netherland, this was written in my first email with label shipping, but i'm waiting for the new laber with the instruction about the free shipping We have three RMA receiving locations: USA, The Netherlands and Taiwan. Your RMA confirmation will specify the specific return address you must use when sending your RMA package. So YES, for Europe it is Netherland service center. I also have label shipping to NL (sending from Czech Rep.) and also still waiting instructions and label for free shipping.
Taodragon00
A competitor is trying to say this won't fix the entire issue etc etc. I was just curious if users will still be able to overclock their pc's with these replacement drives? O.C.Z.'s "fix" for their drives is a ton of steps, which is crazy when spending $300 on a drive, just to get it to work but it won't the moment you overclock. Synthohol
unless you touch the PCI bus speed i dont see how overclocking will affect the drive.

I have seen some examples of competitor's replies to this situation. For example, 1 states that they do not have the same issues with their drives because they do not use the same reference drive design that they claim we use. They state that since theirs is designed in-house that it is different. So, they can't have it both ways. If their drive is different as they state, then I don't see how they can comment on ours. They are not qualified to do so. So, their issues do not compare to ours. But, from what I see and hear, the story changes daily at some of those competitors forums. Rest assured we will send our users drives that will not require a convoluted procedure to use and will operate as advertised. For quality accurate information on Corsair drives, please rely on us, not the competition. ::pirate::
TheOne687
This should be sent out to you withing 24 hours of submission. 24 hours and no shipping label. Also yet to recieve any informtion from Corsair on the Customer Support messages I've sent, though I know it hasn't been 24 hours, I do expect them to answer before 24 hours, even as backed up as they must be. Of course I never could get "Yellowbeard" to answer any questions I've asked involving the RMA, I didn't think they were that hard or out of place, but here you can judge for yourself. 1) Will it be retail or OEM? (I assume retail, but I want to know, just to make sure I get the 3.5" adapter.) 2) How long does it take to be approved for RMA? (I asked him that over an hour after I submitted the RMA, it took 3 to get approved, I also assumed the shipping label would have been in the RMA, it isn't.) 3) How is Corsair going to handle shipping to them? (Another admin had to answer after a couple others asked the exact same question, "Ram Guy" says 24-48 hours.) That is bascially how I asked them, they are in the main thread on this drive if you want to see, I also tried PM'ing them to him and he ignored me. I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see if I can get any kind of customer service, otherwise I'm just going to contact Newegg. I'm sorry if I seem irritated, but when I can't get anyone from the company I bought a $240 drive from to answer a couple simple questions to put my mind at ease, it is to me just like this situation, just shouldn't happen. I saw the F3 coming that were faster and cheaper but then i saw this issue and hesitated. Definitely getting 2xF3 120 after seeing this promptness with the issue. The competitors are being very nasty on their forums basically saying follow our guidelines and test for us or deal with it and RMA/try to get your money back. Not a great response when people spend $300+ on drives that don't work and have to jump through a ton of hoops AND test for them and still not get a working resolution. This is a unique situation and is presenting many challenges. 1. Keep your bracket from your current drive. The replacement drives will all be new retail units with a bracket but, you'll have a backup. 2. RMAs are set to be approved typically within 1 business day. So, if you submit at 12:00pm on a Monday, we strive to approve by 12:00pm on Tuesday. However, we are working diligently to reduce that time for Force 3 customers to minimize your inconvenience and down time. 3. Once your RMA is approved, we will review it within 24 hours and dispatch a shipping label to the email address you gave in your TSX/RMA case. So, you have a window of 24 to 48 hours for the complete process. Again, we are working very hard to avoid it taking that long for Force 3 customers. If you do not have a shipping label in your email box after a full 48 hours, or within 24 hours of your RMA being approved (approved, not submitted) then please contact us using the information in your TSX case. Ram Guy's PMs are turned off to anyone other than Corsair staff, he is NOT ignoring you!!!! he used to get several hundred PMs a day, instead of people posting they would try to ask him directly. imagine trying to answer 50 phones at once, it cant be done. so we have a forum and the staff and us regulars try to take off the burden the best we can. i just dont want you to think you are being ignored!!:):
Ekens
I am still a bit confused. Will I have to pay for shipping as the shippment label mail says? You clearly state otherwise. So therefor my question, shall I wait for an other label, wait for postmann or pay for shipping?

Also, the general reminder if for everyone, past and present and was NOT directed at any individual person. I have posted the same reminder in the other thread also to make sure that people find the information the want quickly without being overlooked. It's easy to lose a single post or PM and especially so "IF" the information is already available. ::pirate::

Yellowbeard
First post has been updated. 1. Keep your bracket from your current drive. The replacement drives will all be new retail units with a bracket so, you'll have an extra bracket. You will NOT receive the same drive in return. Please back up any critical data on your drive if this applies to you.
