StreetSam
Hi new member here, I'm a bit of a fan of Corsair PSUs ever since Be Quiet changed their line up. So I've just brought another new HX650 and there is no way that the extra four pins that convert the four pin ATX12V connector to an eight pin EPS12V connector will fit in my Asus P6X58D-E. To start with they are all "house" shaped when two of them should be square, and even then I can't seem to wiggle them on. I've never had this problem before and the HX750 I have worked fine with my P6T Deluxe V2. Is this the usual design on the HX650? And has anyone had this problem before? Wired
House shaped connectors FIT IN square shaped holes. Just make sure it's not a PCI-e cable or the end of the cable that's supposed to go into the PSU.

I know it is the EPS connector as it is captive on the PSU, this also rules out being the wrong end of the cable. As for the "house" shapes fitting in the "square" holes I agree, that is why I find it annoying that IT DOESN'T FIT
