mlee49
I've been having troubles lately with my 128GB Nova not booting up correctly. It loads to the boot screen and BSOD's immediately after trying to load into Windows. I can access it as another drive through another OS installed on another drive. When I run HD Tune Pro, I get an error about communication malfunction and to check the cable. I've tried every sata cable and every sata port with no luck. http://img.techpowerup.org/110106/Capture007587.jpg It will not load Windows, it will show up otherwise. Is my drive fried? mlee49
Well, bad news. I was able to boot into Parted Magic and start the secure erase process but it stalled at 95% and completely hung up. After waiting for 15 minutes it was still unresponsive and a reboot now will not detect the drive :( Sadly I will have to setup a 3rd rma now just for my SSD's. :(
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 18, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 18, 2011 I am sorry about that but you might move the drive to another system just to test and see if you can erase it. Other wise I agree but if we have replaced the drive previously just contact our customer service and let them know the previous RMA# and they will take care of you.
