imperatrixx
I seem to be having an issue with my gpu downclocking and going off and doing crazy stuff , swapped video cards with my brother and the problem hasnt continuted. the 470 wouldnt clock back up either tell i restarted the pc , issue doesnt seem to occure with the 260 in , but the problem doesnt occur in my bros pc with the 470 i was running sli with 2 470's but decided to return one of the cards due to lack of performance with the current game im playing. i am wondering if its possible i have some kind of +12v rail issue on my psu
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 3, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 3, 2011 If the 260 is working fine, then I would doubt that there is anything wrong with the PSU but the best way to know for sure would be to test the PSU and the graphics card in a different system. If the card only gives you problems when running with the HX850 then lets get it replaced! Request an RMA
imperatrixx
if not the psu what else could it be? my guess is the 260 isnt pulling enough power to make the rail drop? idk.. it even happens when theres no overclocking going on
