NF980-G65 and CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8

Hello,

 

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this or not. I have the MSI NF980-G65 motherboard and am trying to use CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 (2x4GB).

 

I am trying to install windows 7 premium 64-bit. I can POST/ arrive at the BIOS screen no problem but when I try to boot to DVD drive windows says that it is loading files and then abruptly stop with BSOD stop:0x000000 ...... error.

 

Just wondering first of all if there is any sort of settings I would need to change in the BIOS to have this memory work properly (timings etc..)

 

I have scoured the net quite a bit and have found a few similar issues but have not be able to come up with a solution.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
