aten
Hi, I have had this desktop system 2 odd years now and been getting problems since day 1. I have already posted back 4 sticks of 1 meg memory, as memtest found errors with 2 of them. I then had a replacement sent out - 2x sticks of CM2X2048-8500C5D. Again memtest has found errors on one of them, no matter what slot I put it in on the MB, The other one works fine in those same slots. What are the odds of this getting bad memory twice? Could this be related to anything else on the system (the MB for example) I dont mind sending it back for replacement again but it's seems odd to have problems twice in a row, well to me anyway! * Incidentally I notice the recommended settings on here are 5-5-5-15 2.2. Mine as reported by CPU-Z are in the 400mhz column 5-5-5-18 1.8v OR in the 533Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.1v. I haven't tinkered with anything in the Bios but it's not something I am familiar with about so any help would be much appreciated! cheers
Wired
Ignore the SPD tab and look at the memory tab. Enable XMP and you should be set to go. As for the voltage, go with whatever's on the memory LABEL.
