squishyrob
hi all, i recently purchased a corsair ram kit (TWIN2X4096-6400C5C G) and after installing it i get either bsod or it freezes, usually when gaming but sometimes when just browsing etc, (exactly the same as this guy POST ID # = 445460) my voltages etc. are all stock although my bios shows 1.9v instead of 1.8v. i upgraded my psu to a corsair item as i thought they may not be getting enough stable power but this hasnt had any effect. i tried memtest and it didnt come up with any errors either. please help! thanks in advance, Rob. Synthohol
if memtest is passing, you can look at your event logs for a reason. could be a graphics driver. you can try resetting the bios then manually setting the ram timings and voltage. if you can, post your CPU MEMORY and SPD tabs of CPU-z

squishyrob
oh yeah, theres another couple of options i can change too (i have to enter values for all of them, not just 5-5-5-18 values) what do i set these to? i read another post somewhere about the graphics drivers, should i just use the windows default rather than the ati ones? and does it matter that i have ccc installed? theres so many variables with computers it makes my head spin! thanks again, Rob.
