BobRoss
What happened to 7-7-7-20 1T DDR3 1600 sticks? What's with these inferior 7-8-7-20 sticks? How long do I have to put off my build for before the good stuff comes back? And don't tell me the sticks you're churning out now are of the same quality. All I want is a 6GB set of 7-7-7-20 1T DDR3 1600 with cool lookin' red heat spreaders to match my Asus Rampage III Extreme. Is that too much to ask? Who's with me? Lets take to the streets then! It looks like we're going to have to wait it out. Although God only knows how long that will take. And then the prices will skyrocket once the good stuff comes back as the supply will be limited! And we will take to arms in a classic battle of resources! Women and children will be spared, of course, but many men will die in battle. Men left with inferior, high latency memory modules, will be of a lower class and subject to a higher class of men with superior, low latency memory modules. I suppose it's merely the nature of this particular manufacturing process.

BobRoss
So back to my little dilemma. These are my options: 1. Buy what's available. 2. Wait. 3. Buy a triple channel kit, which offers the latencies I seek, but at a lower speed, and OC it. (this option misses out on those cool red heat spreaders) 4. Try to hunt down that set I want and pay way too much for it if I do find it.
