power
In reading various forums and articles on SSD's, I've seen conflicting opinions on whether a secure erase on an SSD should be done using all 00's or all 11's. And then some people say it doesn't matter either way if the SSD has a Sandforce controller as the Corsair Force series do. Is there a conclusive answer to these questions?
Synbios
I know from first hand experience, the method that they use Parted Magic is excellent for performance so I would stick with that. I believe it uses zero padding.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 31, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 31, 2010 Yes please use parted Magic and use Secure Erase, you will not have a choice of 1's or 0's if you select the correct choice (Secure Erase)
