Jay.Co
Just bought this PSU from the bay and very happy with the price a paid been still sealed in it's box.. I thought these nice spec PSU would have modular cable connections but to my surprise this model has a large bunch of un-wanted wires.. My question is... warranty aside would i be able to snip and cap all the un wanted wires without causing issues with the unit it self.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300504452706&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_632wt_1139 Thanks for looking in
Wired
Items bought from end users have no warranty. As per the website, TX series is non-modular. It's never recommended to cut wires like that.

My thoughts are if there just sat there not been used then wouldn't of thought snipping them and fitting electrical caps to cover the ends be an issue.. will it affect any delicate electrical boards that was my main thoughts! As long as the ends are capped off and can't make contact with any other wires or components in the system then I think you should be fine, but this is not something that we test. Maltitol
Don't do it yo! If you want your case to have a nice wiring job check online for ideas.
