stopdrop
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could offer me some insight/help with this combo to optimize my Bios settings... The below template shows the settings I've used that seem to be most stable for my setup currently, but wondering if anyone has suggestions to improve.... Other than just lowering my BCLK/Multi's ;) Can I lower/fine tune any of these voltages more effectively to produce less heat but maintain solid stability for stress testing?? ~~Thanks in advance!! Wired
What's the part number of the KIT, not the stick? How many sticks do you have?
stopdrop
I had been running my i7 920 c0 at ~ 3.9 Ghz stable for months... Then I installed the new Asus bios today for my Asus P6T6 WS Revolution, i7920 (with c0 stepping), it flashed all my Bios settings... and now I got a system that wont boot to windows 7 anymore... BSOD... The kit is 3x2Gb... It's the Dominator GT 1866 C7 6Gb kit... (not sure of the part # for the kit, as I can't find it on the Corsair website anymore). Surely has something to do with my Bios settings... So for now, I have tried setting everything to default in the Bios... no OC on the CPU, picked XMP memory profile and running Memtest to see what happens (disabled legacy usb).... Hope it passes clear so I know the sticks/slots are ok at least.... :/
