SCORR
I built a new system with this dominator RAM. My question is what setting is needed to get as close to 2000mhz as i can? From what i understand i need to overclock CPU to achieve this, which is no problem (have the Corsair H50). So i guess what i need help on is the settings needed on this board voltages and timings. One thing i had seen in the bios is the DRAM voltage of 1.65v is max before the "BIG" warning that it could damage the Intel CPU if going any further, does this ram acually need more? Hope some one can help... Thanks in advance Scott
trackrat
The link below should help you with overclocking your hardware including the RAM: http://www.techreaction.net/2010/09/07/3-step-overclocking-guide-bloomfield-and-gulftown/
Wired
As per the specs of the memory which is on the label itself, no, the memory does not need more than 1.65v.

Thanks in advance Scott You can see my PC specs in the signature; all 6 slots populated-6-up, for a total of 12G-6*2 this is what I'm using...fast, stable and no Corsair fan-Intel i7 970 and Silverstone NVIDIA edition top case fans all directly above and beside the ram. This required no effort and I am no expert at OC.
