dino467
I put in the HX750, at first all seemed great, now my Sli 8800's will not function...I have had to unplug my Samsung Burner as it seems to be going. I have been trouble shooting like crazy and the only thing that has changed is the PSU.So to me common sense dictates that I put my TX650 back in and see what happens, if all is fine I obviously need to initiate an RMA but will there be any issues since it really isn't dead..but faulty and how do I describe it...lack of power? dino467
so this morning experiment involved swapping PSU's,reinstalled my 2nd 8800GT,enabled Sli,reconnected DVD Burner...all works flawlessly, is there any other thing I should be checking? As of right now it does appear to be a faulty HX750
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 14, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 14, 2010 If everything was working fine with the old PSU and its still working fine with the old PSU then lets get the HX750 replaced! Request an RMA
dino467
Everything is working fine again...frame rates went through the roof again,DVD doesn't stutter or hang up boot, I was going to submit an RMA, but then I checked Newegg and realized it is with in the 30 day limit since I purchsed it Nov29 and they issued a RMA immediately, I have already shipped it so hopefully better luck with the replacement.
