dickgraysoon
I'm having issues with my TW3X4G1333C9A version 2.2 2x2gb DDR3 ram. For some reason if I turn off the computer for a while (a couple hours) and turn it back on the system will boot unstable. This results in massive crashing and instability in windows for about 5 minutes. After that period, the system runs 24 hour prime stable. I know its a ram issue because I've tested it on another system and also ran into the same issue. I ran memtest during coldboot and received thousands of errors in only a few seconds of running test 7. I've tested the ram both while the system is overclocked (except the ram) and at stock settings. I've also tried bumping the voltage slightly to 1.6v on boot but it hasn't helped. I've tried using the tech support express but never received an email or response. Waited for about 5 days. Case #1804016. If possible I'd like to go ahead and follow through with an RMA. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 16, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 16, 2010 I have approved the RMA request for you, but what you have posted would suggest some other issue. If the problem did follow the modules I would try and clean the contacts with a Pencil eraser and see if that corrects that problem, other wise proceed with the RMA.
