16 GB GT - The disk in drive F is not formatted

I bought a 16 GB voyager GT and I have made sure that every time i want to unplug it to do it correctly.

 

I had saved a lot of information on it. although I bak up files every week I hadn't had the chance to do it for the past two weeks.

 

unfortunately last time when i wanted to back up and when i plugged it in it suddenly said

THE DISK IN DRIVE F IS NOT FORMATTED

 

the bluse light goes on the USB flash and it continues to be lit up.

 

is there any way I can recover my data?

Please try and format your Flash Voyager with Corsair EZ-Recover Utility. Please note; this will not recover Data; it’s made to recover the FAT table for the Flash drive.

But First if you need to recover some data there are some third party utilities available that may help you if you have some data you need to recover from this site.

If you still have problems, let’s get it replaced. Please use the RMA request found in TSXpress or follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

none of the items worked.

 

Now, I am from Australia (DOWN UNDER) so two issues:

1. do I have to post this to US? it will cost me a lot?

2. will you return the old one. I have a friend who beleives DATA can be recoverd but the flash has to be opened up. he is an electronic enginering genius. I really need the data on the usb so I am willing to try any luck.

 

Please let me know what's the go.

 

BTW my case number is 1805999.

I have resent the RMA to you but if its still the USA address our customer service will send you the right address shortly.

Our Hours are from Monday Through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time excluding Holidays. Sorry but we are not open on Weekends.

sorry RAM guy but you are really confusing me.

I have had no reposne in regards to my querry that i will be sending the 16 Gb Gt in pieces yet. (i did what Wired said in POST ID # = 480303 ).

 

but no response from any customer representative or anyone else.

 

my RMA # is 1805999.

I have to send the 16 Gb corsair in pieces as I really need the information on the USB.

 

I am so disappointed and pieced off with corsair.

 

Pleaser respond to my querry and don't send me around circles.

 

where do i have to post this USB to get a replacement??????

I am sorry but you will need to contact our customer service and they will be happy to help you with this, the number is on the contact link on the main web site.

If you are out of the USA you can use skype and call the 888 number.

PLEASE HELP ME AS I AM GETTING MORE AND MORE CONFUSED.

 

THIS IS THE CASE NUMBER THAT I HAVE. Case #1805999

when i login to RMA status it says that it has been posted out BUT it hasn't been posted.

 

Look I don't want to be rude but apparently you guys don't give a damn.

 

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO NOW.

 

WHERE SHOULD I SEND THIS USB TO BE REPLACED.

I have sent them another message to contact you but the RMA was issued and the email was sent to your yahoo address please check the spam folder as that is likely where it may be if you still don't have the RMA conformation email.
