nojones
Asus is sometimes picky. Vengence is a new memory line. I've got Asus M4A89GTD PRO coming. CPU is 1055T 95W. My 1st choice was Dominator 4 x 2GB CMD8GX3M4A1333C7 (is not QVL but I saw in someones sig paired with the Asus). I'd rather go with 2 x 4GB modules like the Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 KIT. Info, rumours, educational guess ?
Wired
Doubt they're meant for AMD CPUs since the whole Vengeance line supports Intel's Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP).
nojones
Dual channel retail packages(s) carry Ph II stamp. http://wccftech.com/images/news/Corsair-Vengeance-Modules/167c.jpg
Wired
Then it's meant for both :)
nojones
Corsair meant them to work = They really are compatible with my mainboard + PH II CPU?
trackrat
It appears that Corsair's primary interest for this RAM was Intel systems but they also include them as compatible for AMD systems so it should work fine. Asus mobos can be RAM sensitive so always use the latest BIOS for best RAM compatibility.
Wired
If they're advertised, they have to be compatible, else they'd get their asses sued off.
trackrat
I'm sure they work on AMD as they are advertised as such on the Corsair website front page as well as on the box. http://www.corsair.com/
