cod0973
I am not sure this is related exactly. I have two 256GB extreme SSD drives. One of the drives is not detected on boot up about every other time. I have to power cycle a couple of times before it is detected. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Dan
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 1, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2010 Are you running them in RAID? Have you tried testing the drive you suspect on its own?
cod0973
I have them in a Raid 1 configuration. I can read the data off of both drives individualy after they are detected by themselves. I just have to hit the power switch a couple of times until the bios sees this particular drive.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 2, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 2, 2010 I am not clear on weather its just one of the drives dropping out or if it can be either drive? And have we replaced the drive before? Also if you are using an Intel chipset MB did you try the latest Intel driver 10,XXX?
