TR3X6G1600C8D BSOD at 1600 MHz

I've been having an issue since day one with this RAM. When I select XMP profile 1 to set the ram to 1600mhz, it will work however it is highly unstable. I get random BSOD's left right and center. All my parts are in my profile and compatible.

The ram will only work stable at 1066mhz, and I really want to be able to use the ram to its full capability.

Has anybody seen issues like this before? I've been hunting in google for months and havent found anything yet. I've ran memtest and it found nothing. RMA'd the motherboard twice, caught fire once and just died second time same issue with all the boards.

Thanks in advance for any help, I've already requested an RMA but I'm still just very curious.

The i7-9xx series CPUs are only guaranteed to run RAM @ 1066 MHz. Anything beyond 1066 MHz. is overclocking and in overclocking nothing is guaranteed - per my signature.

XMP profiles are not guaranteed to work. They are a best guess at what may work for many users. Make sure that you are using the latest BIOS as this is how mobo makers correct memory compatibility issues. Manually setting the BIOS options may be the only means to find a combination that will allow you to run the RAM overclocked stable.
