Funkybone
Can someone suggest stable timings and voltage for my Auss A7N8X and my new CMC2GX1M2A400C3 memory modules if other than the factory 3-3-3-8 and 2.75v. No OC'ing or anything fancy, just so it is stable. Should I mess with the multiplier value as well? Will I notice any difference coming from some now gone bad TWINX2048-3200C2PT G? Rig is used for Photoshop and a little light gaming? Thank you!

If you mean your CPU multiplier, you shouldn't have to change that. And if you did you would most likely only see a decrease in performance, as I believe the A64 3000 is multiplier locked by default, so you would only be able to go down with it, thus decreasing your system speed. As for difference, you probably won't notice much of a difference if you just plan to run your machine at stock speeds (i.e., no OC'ing as you said). And even if you did OC it you probably still wouldn't notice too much difference unless you were running benchmarks on it to see what the difference between one test and another between OC'd and non-OC'd was. You might notice a small difference in FPS in gaming perhaps, but I'm not so sure about in Photoshop. I don't believe you should have to adjust anything, assuming you ran your old sticks with the settings at auto/default, if you did though you may have to do some readjustments in CMOS. That's just my opinion though and nothing is written in stone.
Funkybone
One of my TWINX2048-3200C2PT modules went bad and I sent them in for replacement. Because that is no longer available, I am being offered the CMC2GX1M2A400C3 stuff as a replacement and just wondering if I was getting the short end of the stick on that deal. I don't know all that much about what these speed settings mean in real life so that's why I asked. Thanks for your thoughts.
