Telo
Hello, I have an old Foxconn BlackOps build, I can run the sticks that make up the TR3X6G1600C8D set @ 1442Mhz 7-7-7-21 on it, but I would like to maybe get a couple of sets of CMT4GX3M2A2000C8 to run them a little higher than 1442Mhz with tighter timings. Is this possible? I ask because I bought two sets of Hyper's 2250 and they flopped; I can run RedLine 998750 DDR3-2000 @ 1442Mhz 6-6-6-20, but it is just 3 sticks and I would like to get 4 [discontinued and cannot be found anywhere]. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Wired
Do NOT mix memory kits that haven't been tested together (from 2 different manufacturers or 2 identical kits). Guaranteed-Compatible Memory for your Foxconn BLACKOPS
Telo
I Guess I confused you with my question... I meant I would like to get a couple of sets, meaning 4 sticks of CMT4GX3M2A2000C8 [and max out the board's 8GB limit], and hopefully run then above 1442Mhz with better timings than the TR3X6G1600C8D. I only mentioned the other RAMs as reference that it can be done, it must be dependant on the particular chips used to make the RAM [i'm guessing]. As for the link provided, the CMP4GX3M2A1600C8 set is basically the 2 stick version of TR3X6G1600C8D. I'm looking for any RAM that you make [since most of your current RAM is in stock everywhere] DDR3-2000 with CAS8 or better, that can be used on the BlackOps. Thanks, and sorry again for the confusion.
Wired
No, I understood it. That's why I explicitly stated not to mix the kits. Do not mix two kits of CMT4GX3M2A2000C8 together. There is no guarantee they'd work at any spec together, let alone run stable together.
Telo
Yikes, so I guess my best option would be buying a quad channel set of CMP8GX3M4A1600C8?
