How to test the AX1200

I have the Corsair AX1200. I'm not going to be able to build my computer until the end of the month but I wanted to test the power supply. I saw a video on corsair using a paperclip to bridge the green and black wires on the 24 pin connector. But on the AX1200, all wires are black. Is there a way I can tell which is green and black?

Thank you.

If you are on a PC right now or have access to one, you can remove the essential power cables (mobo, gpu, HDs) without taking out the PSU (or gutting out the PC), then plug in the AX1200 power cables.

That is why I did today to test out my new AX700. It's so much easier and allows you to put load on the PSU too.

If this is the case, I also have an AX 750 that I want to rig up as permanently on - to run my fans and cooling system separately... is this enough of a load for it to work? I'll have 2 - 3 fan controllers, with 6 fans on each, as well as two water pumps.

Thanks in advance!
