Roundsound
I have 2x2GB of these RAM sticks- CMP4GX3M2B1600C8. It is supposed to have 1.65v, but the closest my BIOS will let me set it to is 1.630 or 1.662 (not recommended - warning). I have had it set to auto since i put them in, but i have had some crashes, wich i think might be related to the voltage. Memtest says they are fine. Which one should i set it to? trackrat
You can run your DDR3 RAM at 1.60-1.70 V without issue. 1.65 V is the desired voltage for your RAM but the RAM is usually safe running up to 1.7 V per Ram Guy. I'd try 1.630 V and if you still have issues try 1.662 V. They are both acceptable.
