nav53
Ok i have found the problem i had in the previous thread, my windows doesn't want boot, reboot or freeze because it's a driver issue. When i had installed the graphic card drivers (catalyst 10.5) for my 5870 crossfire, Windows freeze or reboot. Before I installed any graphics drivers the system works well. Now is it a PSU problem ? or a driver problem ? What can i do ? A RMA won't change anything if I can't install graphic drivers.
trackrat
The PSU has nothing to do with graphics drivers. The standard procedure to update video drivers is to completely remove the existing drivers and then reboot and install the proper new drivers. If you don't completely remove the current video drivers before installing the new drivers, the new and old drivers can create conflicts causing the problems you describe. nav53
I had formated my Windows before ...... and i always use driver sweeper and this PSU cause a problem with my graphic driver that's why i have installed the graphic drivers first just after formatting my PC. edit : latest version of catalyst doesnt change anything
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 6, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 6, 2010 I would test the PSU in a different system, or test a different PSU in your system to see if you can isolate the problem to the PSU. If it looks like replacing the unit will resolve the issue, then please Request an RMA.
