callawey
I build up a new computer but i have problem for my memory. My system both BIOS and windows shows up only 4GB of ram while there is actualy 12GB of ram on the system also CPU-Z shows there is 12GB ram. I have tried everything i found over internet, i played with the Voltages etc, but nothing resolved it, it is always 4GB ram. You can have a look over my spec on my signature, if someone knows how to make it work on a system like that, i will be appricate. If any more information needed, i can provide it. Wired
There's a sticky in this area that covers this topic. Aside from that, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to hit those speeds with 2 unmatched kits.
trackrat
Two RAM kits rarely function together without issues per the Memory Upgrade Guide link by Corsair, in my signature. In addition as Wired noted the Asus X58 mobos have been known to have RAM issues per the link below. With an Asus mobo you always want the latest BIOS which is used to correct a lot of mobo issues including RAM compatibility. http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82274
Wired
I didn't say Asus. That article's for X58 and P55/H55/H57 platforms in general, not from just one manufacturer.
trackrat
I meant that the article was originally written for Asus X58 mobo issues and applies to them and other X58 mobos. ;):
