oupavoc
So your using them in the hot swap bay with no issues, or did you install them in the lower hdd cage?
FlawlessSoul
Since the newer raptors are 2.5" HDDs in 3.5" IcePaks, there are some versions that do not have the backplane compatability. However, any model ending in HLFS is designed for hotswapping use with backplanes, and will work fine.
oupavoc
ok cool so they should work, a friend is giving these away and tolled him idk if there compatible with the hotswap bays. I already have an Corsair ssd but these in raid 0 will be great for my games instead of the WD Caviar Blacks :)
FlawlessSoul
Keep your OS and your favourite game on the SSD. Stick all your documents, user profiles, etc. on the raptors, along with your other games. http://lifehacker.com/5586733/how-to-take-full-advantage-of-your-solid+state-drive http://www.ghacks.net/2009/01/10/optimize-windows-for-solid-state-drives-usage/ Oddly enough, I currently have two WD3000HLFS and waiting on an SSD to do exactly the same as you (sans hotswap bays :p)
