sburcs
hey, at the beginning sorry for my english ;): so because i would like to buy a >=60GB Sandforcs SSD, i'm interested in the Forcs Series. But i don't noticed no differences between the F90 and the F80. So I'm asking here for that. Also i would like to know why there is a "P" in the Modelnumber of the F80 CSSD-F80GBP2-BRKT. Thank you for your answers. sburcs
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 1, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 1, 2010 First we do not offer a F90, only the F80 or the F120. And the "P" means nothing its just part of the whole part number.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted December 1, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted December 1, 2010 OOps! Okay I do not see any reseller stocking the F90 and as far as I know it has not been sold but if it starts selling the F-80 will be phased out! leexgx
it uses updated firmware that lowers the amount of space that is used for keeping the drive in good working order, something like 17% before down to 7-9% (trying to find the link related to it) does not affect the total life of the sdd in any way as it was bit big to start off with, the business class SSDs still use the higher amount but they tend to get hammered way more so require it
