cfrea
So I really want to dump the front intake 200mm fan on the 600t but realize its a 200x20mm size instead of the common 200x30mm. I found one company that does 200x20mm but they seem to the be the same fans in the 600t but just different stickers. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233078&cm_re=200mm_fan-_-35-233-078-_-Product Any ideas? Are these indeed the same fans in the 600t? Edit: I actually found two other 200x20 fans. Hmm decisions decisions. I guess first I need to know what the stock 600t 200mm fan is rated at. Anyone know? http://www.coolcox.com/products/dcfan/led20020.asp
Phoenixlight
The front 200mmx30mm White LED Fan has 76 CFM and spins at 800 rpm (24.2 dBA)
abisel
My motherboard fan utility tells me the stock fans run at 550rpm. Some of the aftermarket fans run at 800rpm, 76cfm, 18dB. I'm thinking of getting one for the intake fan.
Carlos68
The standard 200mm x 20mm fans are the same as the Xigmatek ones available and are 800rpm 76cfm.
abisel
Maybe I'm doing something wrong with my MB BIOS setting on the fan rpm. ASUS P6X58D Premium. It shows 550rpm for the front and top, and 820 for the rear. Any advice?

abisel
Do you have the Chassis Q-Fan control active in the bios so its limiting the fan speed ? I did have the Q-Fan control enabled and set to Turbo, but the fans spin at 550. So I disabled Q-Fan and they still spin at 550. Maybe this 600T case is so cool inside that the MB doesn't need to speed up the chassis fans. The GPU fan on the other hand does spin-up under demand, but only if EVGA Pricision utility is running. Jay.Co
Im getting around 660+rpm on both 200mm 600T case fans.... somewhere round the 900rpm for the intake be good for the 600T.. or even a 180mm fan behind the front screen will help draw more cool air into the case.. Iv'e already added two 120mm fans under the top grill and maybe the front be an idea...
abisel
No matter what I do (aside from plugging them directly to 12 volts), the case fans do not spin up. The front and top fans don't go any higher than 630rpm. The rear fan gets up to 840rpm. The CPU and GPU fans will spin up depending on load and their temps haven't gotten higher than 59C. This is all after running Black Ops for an hour. So, maybe I shouldn't worry about the case fans. If anything, maybe I'll look into better coolers for the CPU and GPU and get their temps down. BTW, this is all stock with no overclocking.
