Yellowbeard
Did you actually try the drives in RAID on the JMicron controller?

Yellowbeard
Did you actually try the drives in RAID on the JMicron controller? Reattach the drives to the JMicron controller and use the RAID utility to remove the drives from the RAID array so that the MBR can be rewritten. If there is a function in the JMicron utility for restoring the drives to a non RAID status, use it. If not, after you unRAID the drives and attach them to the ICH9 controller, secure erase them with Parted Magic.
