Marx
Hi, I reading around that it dosnt matter if I mount AX850 with the fan up or down so I just want to hear what you think. Should I mount my (new :) ) AX850 with the fan up or with the fan down in my (new :) ) Corsair 700D cabinett. I mean there is pleanty of room in that case with this psu. Thank you. T_MacP
Hi, I feel the air flow through the PSU is less restricted by drawing the intake directly through the opening at the bottom of the case. Therefore, intake fan facing down is what I have chosen.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 30, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 30, 2010 I would install it in the 700D with the fan facing down so that it gives you a little bit more slack with the motherboard cables, but you can install it either way.
