four100
I'm using a i7 950 oc'd to 3.9ghz on a msi big bang xpower board with an evga gtx 580 video card. i have had this psu for about 1 month and this just started happening recently; i'm starting to randomly freeze and reboot when i'm playing games. should the psu be rma'd? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 30, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 30, 2010 The issues you describe would not normally indicate a faulty PSU, although its possible. I would run http://www.memtest.org and make sure you are not getting any memory errors. If the issues happen mainly within 3D applications I would try reinstalling the latest graphics drivers and make sure you have the latest BIOS. If all else fails then we can definitely try replacing the PSU for you, just Request an RMA.
