sourtimer
I emailed Corsair support over two months ago to receive a replacement for the front I/O panel on my 800D case. I was informed they were in production and would get a reply when they were ready to ship out. I have yet to hear anything back. The front I/O panel on many 800D cases is defective and when you use the front audio jack for your headphones, you'll hear a high pitched hum in your headset that changes as you move the mouse or with hard drive activity. There is a lack of sufficient grounding and/or shielding on the cabling. Can I please get a response as to when working front I/O panels will be available for replacement on the defective panel in my 800D case ? FlawlessSoul
I don't use mine, for this reason. Thankfully, I have an easily accessible headphone jack on my speakers controls (that does not require them to be turned on). I believe someone mentioned shielding them yourself, but can't find the post.
