J Bellari
I tried the CMX12GX3MA2000C9 memory on the Gigabyte X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0 Motherboard with an Intel i7-950 processor, but it will not run with the XMP profile at 2000Mhz. It reboots then gives overclock voltage error message. Instead, the 12GB Corsair memory runs stable at the default 1066Mhz setting, which is actually slower than the 1333mHz "Otherbrand" Value Ram I can get for much less money. What memory setting should I use, or should I return it for the much cheaper "Otherbrand" memory?
Yellowbeard
Set XMP and then manually set your QPI VTT, aka memory controller voltage manually. You'll have to tune this voltage a bit yourself as the XMP profile is set to a slightly lower value for Gulftown CPUs. Typically, you'll need 1.35v - 1.5v on a Bloomfield CPU to run 2000 depending on the quality of your memory controller.
trebleta
I haveing the same problem, better off disableing the xms profile and setup manual.
