Strange problem

Following a break from my motherboard I bought another card, an Asus Sabertooth. Once set properly in my Obsidian 800D, I realized that all my PCI card (Biggfoot kiler 2100, Asus Essence STX and GTX 480 EVGA) did not have those holes in back of the case.:confused:

For this to work I must necessarily force and my various cards are wrong.:[pouts:

Are there a problem with my motherboard or my Obsidian? Thank you for helping me.

I had no problem with my Rampage 2, but with my Sabertooth yes.:sigh!:

When I press my PCI cards on the motherboard, all of their fixation does not correspond to those of my Obsidian 800D. Moreover, I feel that the cards are not perfectly parallel. However, I can not move my motherboard that is perfectly aligned with the backplate.

Thank you for the advice. Attached is a photo of the "problem":

Thx.

I had the exact same problem with my 800D (though with a different motherboard), even if the motherboard was lined up correctly to the preattached leveller screws, the back slot bracket of my cards wouldn't reach the back of the case. And if I did push the cards backwards so that it aligned to the back slots of the case, the cards would sit at a slight angle on the motherboard slots, even raised enough so on the opposite end that the card would lose connection to the last slot connectors.

I remember when I built my system a year ago, this caused me some major headache. In the end, I solved it by making custom length leveller screws, so that the motherboard itself is actually attached at a slightly tilted angle raised outwards from the case. Hard to explain, but it worked. Now my cards sit firmly in the motherboard slots as well as to the back case slots.
