Billye
I have a ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe with a pentium 4 3.2 MHz processor. I just bought Corsair VS2GBKIT400C3 and can't even get the system to boot. I have to load some older memory to get into the bios. I have played with the settings but no matter what I try i can't seem to get it ti work. The only way I can get it to book with the new memory is with old memory in the for slot and the new memory in the 2nd and 4th slots. Can anyone tell me what all the bios settings should be? Thanks! Yellowbeard
Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
Billye
Yes I tried reseting the CMOS. The new memory only works when I put older slower memory in the first and third slots and the new memory in the 2nd and 4th slots. I have to leave the bios set to auto mode. The computer won't even show a post screen with the new memory in the 1st slot.
