Asus Crosshair IV and CMT4GX3M2A1866C9

Hi guys/ Ram Guy, i need help to configure this ram to run on

Crosshair IV Formula with 1600MHZ,

is it ok if i put 9-9-9-24-2T, dram voltage 1.65v to run on 1600MHZ :D:

 

pls guys, hope someone can give some advise/recommendation :biggrin:

Unfortunately the CMT4GX3M2A1866C9 is confirmed Intel i5/i7 compatible but not AMD compatible.

 

If you have already purchased this RAM you can try 9-9-9-24 2T, 1.65 V and see if the RAM will run stable @ 1600 MHz. but their is no guarantee as the RAM isn't rated AMD compatible. The AMD AM3 socket CPUs officially support 1333 MHz. but often they will run compatible RAM at 1600 MHz. If you have not purchased yet then I'd suggest buying AMD confirmed compatible RAM from the Phenom II list at the link below.

actually i got this ram as a replacement after i claim

warranty for Dominator GT 1600MHz, i'll try configuration as u suggested

and see whether its stable or not, and thanks again :)
