at1
I have just completed building my first computer and have a question about the power supply -- a TX650. It came with an unusually heavy gauge AC power cord. My battery backup/surge protector requires the use of special adapter cables, and the ones I have are noticeably smaller in gauge than the TX650 AC power cord. However the adapter cables are rated for 10 amps, which is the amp rating of the TX650. Will it be alright to use the smaller-gauge cables to power the TX650? Or should I get a heavier gauge adapter cable?
Wired
What backup device do you have? Never seen one with special adapters, even in data centers.

Wired
Oh, an old male to male, gotcha. Just keep in mind that that unit only covers 540 Watts.
