Oldstone Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 For all you AMD people out there, there is a new driver on the catalyst page for AHCI that is supposed to support TRIM. The driver version is 10.9 (1.2.1.263) and is a different driver than the original 10.9. How about posting testing results here? Oldstone Posted November 16, 2010 Author Share Posted November 16, 2010 I'll answer my own post. Been using the new firmware and trim driver for a couple of days and all is well. Using a hex editor, I could see that trim is indeed working. There is a lot more in the AMD processor forum under chipsets and some benchmarks there.
