exdeath202
I installed a 3*2 pack of ram, the MB detected it as 1300 cl9, then i enabled XMP support and it changed to 1600 7-8-7-24, and the other 5 timings were wrong too (some of them not all). I set everything according to the XMP profile i could see from my Bios (if i can see it why doesnt it auto set to those settings i dont understand). So the timings are set manually , i set voltage to 1.65 and the ram is working at 1600 (checked with CPUID). Is all that correct? The only thing left is Command Rate, i cant find it anywhere, some online shops are listing the ram as 7-8-7-20 1T, so i set it to 1T but CPUID seems to think it is only 2T. So, what should i set it to? 1T or 2T? i dont know if my ram is missing instructions or what but i cant find anywhere the voltage, command rate or the other 5 timings ( my MB lets me set 5 extra, they are 88-5-5-5 or something like that according to XMP) or ram ratio, if you could give me those it would be nice. trackrat
The proper timings and voltage for your specific RAM are listed on the label on the RAM. With multiple modules installed 2T is often required but if your PC is 100% stable with 1T then you can use 1T. XMP profiles are not guaranteed. They are a best guess of what should work for most users. The BIOS can have a different XMP profile option than the memory XMP profile.
exdeath202
The RAM label shows 7-8-7-20 and that is all. The profile and my BIOS both have 5 extra latencies appart from those 4.
Wired
Those aren't memory timings strictly speaking.
