jalla
I cant install the drivers for the HS1 on win7 x64, i get this error: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)" I need to press F8 on every boot to disable Driver Signature Enforcement, then its ok. What to do? :(:
roman59
Disable your anti virus software before you install the drivers, then after it has installed start the av software up again. Think this is mentioned in the instructions for the Hs1. Hope this helps? Cheers
jalla
Thanks for the reply. AV was disabled.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 16, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 16, 2010 Please try and down load the driver listed on the left and see if that will solve the error, but I and anyone I know has not had that problem. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 8, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 8, 2011 I'm having the same issue, has a solution been found? Try booting the system up in safe mode and uninstalling the HS1 driver, reboot back into safe mode and try re-installing the driver. Let us know if you still have problems! fLipSidE0001
Hi, I have the same problems as jalla and have tested all the tips here but it didn't work :[pouts: The headset has worked fine until I reinstalled drivers for my nvidia graphics card. Don't know if it had anything to do with that or not? Also, I do get sound when I have uninstalled the drivers but the lights keep blinking so I'll go crazy if it does that for longer periods ;p Thanks
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 22, 2011 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 22, 2011 You should have the option to install the driver anyway, if you do not then you have to install it as administrator. Right click on the setup and then run as administrator.
fLipSidE0001
Try that, did even try to run the install as administrator in safe mode. Same error still. On a note a should say that I've SP1 for win 7 now. Anyone else that have this problem?

Can you see if the issues persist if you remove a few USB devices? Also, are you able to test the headset on a different system to see if the problems follow the HS1? SyncError
Have you tried disabling UAC? Are you using the drivers provided on the website? If not: 1) Disable UAC by going to: Start->Control Panel->User Accounts and Family Safety->User Accounts->Change User Account Control settings->Drag slider all the way to the bottom (Never notify) 2) Restart computer 3) Extract drivers from downloaded archive. Run setup.exe. You shouldn't have any further problems.
kakashi007
I have the same problem as jalla. I've tried reinstall in safe mode, didn't work. I've also followed SyncErrors instructions but no luck there either. I did successfully re-install the Corsair driver on my laptop just for testing so the problem only exists on my desktop PC. The difference between the PCs apart from hardware is that the laptop is running Win7 Home Premium while the Desktop runs Win7 Pro. Regarding having many USB devices, as RAM GUY wrote might be an issue, I only have my keyboard and mouse attached to my computers USB ports so there isn't anything extra to remove. Anti-Virus has been disabled during install (although it's worked without doing so earlier.) These problems began yesterday when I installed Oracle Virtualbox and Virtual CloneDrive, don't know if it has anything to do with this though. Really annoying so I hope a solution may turn up! :) Thank you

If the HS1 is working in a different system then there is a driver conflict with some software on the system.
kakashi007
Only one way to find out, uninstall them and see if the problems go away. If the HS1 is working in a different system then there is a driver conflict with some software on the system. Uninstalling the programs made no difference :( A reinstall of windows sorted it out, though a better solution would be preferable. Thank you for the advice anyway
