maklabouhlel
I am looking to buy this case. Could someone please tell me about the fans in there. Are they all connected to the fan controller? Are they all 3-pin? Thanks.
shuffle
Me too, also please could someone tell me if you can choose not to run one of the 200mm fans it preferred? Noise is the most important thing, so I would like the option of not running the 2 x200mm fans on the 600t. At the moment the 2 120mm fans either side of my H50 acting as exhaust do a great job. I'm just thinking if I need to add extra fans into the equation if not necessary.
sh1ft
Front and top fans are 200mm x 20mm (not your typical 200mm x 30mm). You can not put a Cooler Master 200mm in your top fan slot. You can put one on the front if you move the HDD cage and remove the fan shroud. Using a H70 in push/pull on the rear, I noticed no temperature changes after removing the top 200mm. All fans are 3-pin. You don't have to plug them into the fan controller if you don't want to. I plugged them into my motherboard instead. With all stock fans in place, the 600T is very quiet. Just because a fan is bigger, doesn't mean it will be louder. The 200mm fans spin at 700RPM. I don't know the exact decibel rating, but they are quiet. They also don't move much air since they are 20mm thick.
shuffle
Sh1ft - thanks for the reply.. I will be getting this case for christmas, i was thinking of the 700d or the 600t.. but I think this case is more than adequate for what I need, let alone the monster 700d! You've confirmed what I was thinking ie.. do i need to use the fans, so great.
sh1ft
Here to help. :) If you plan to ever water cool, save yourself the hassle and go 800D. If you're going to stick with air cooling, the 600T should be just fine.
