COMTIBoy
Hi Everyone, If I have a fan that has 3 pins (or 4), how can I power it if I don't have enough CPU, chassis, or power fan connectors on the motherboard? I figure there must be an adapter or something that I can use to plug this 3 pin connector right into my psu, but not sure what I need. Sorry if this is a lame question. I'm a newbie. Thanks. BTW, I'm using a Corsair HX1000. Motherboard is a ASUS P6X58D-E
jmrios82
You can buy a Molex to 3 pin adapters.. This should solve your problem, usually an aftermarket fan comes with this adapter.
