sh1ft
I've searched Google, the Corsair forums, and even other forums. I still have yet to see a product manual. I'm planning on removing the entire HDD assembly as well as replacing the front 200mm fan. I can't seem to figure out how to get the front panel off though. My goal: Mount 2x120mm radiator on top Mount 2x120mm fans on the radiator (I don't believe push/pull is possible due to clearance) Relocate HDD cage to floor of case Replace 200mm front fan with a megaflow Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling I well end up mounting the radiator to the inside top and fans to the outside top. As for the HDD bay, I still can't find anything that tells me how to remove the front panel of the case.
Carlos68
To remove the front panel there are a number of tabs inside that you have to force out, but they are very stiff to move and i was frightened of breaking them off. I don't know why case designers don't use something easier to remove the panels.
sh1ft
Thanks for the info. Those tabs are pretty tight. Kind of nice to see compared to the Storm Sniper.
Darkcyde
There really is no reason to remove the front panel. The front fan is held on by two snap in brackets that are screwed to the fan. The HDD cages are held in by thumb screws on the side. Remove them and pull the cages toward you. They should slide out. There are tabs on the floor in front of the PSU that the cages slide into for floor mounting. The cooler master fan is 10mm too thick for the fan brackets, but can be mounted on the outside of the brackets if the HDD cage is mounted on the floor. I just wanted to remove the black box that the HDD cage initially rests on. That's why I need to remove the front panel. Going to toss in a few blue fans and hopefully a GTX 580.
